The conference « New technologies and digitalization: are auditors facing a revolution? » to be held on October 11, 2016 is jointly organized by IBR/IRE, IIA Belgium and ISACA and will address the impact of the digitalization in the client’s business and the added value the auditor could provide in this context and also focus on the impact of the digitalization of auditing tools and techniques. This is a unique opportunity to debate on the impact of digitalization with experts and representatives of the audit professions and stakeholders and to contribute to panel discussions relating to the impact of digitalization and new technologies on the audit and relating to the audit of a paperless digital company in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, Mr. Alexander DE CROO, Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium and Minister of Development Cooperation, Digital Agenda, Telecom and Postal Services will give a keynote speech on the impact of digitalization on companies and their advisors.
